2021 was not the year for Grand Plans.
Minds fragmented by outer events sought ways to bring calm and stillness.
Small, simple, repetitive, meditative acts were embraced.

My studio became my haven.
A luxury afforded by fate.
A place where time slowed down, and at times, stood still.

Gathering remnants of projects passed I slowly started fashioning a little order from the superfluous, the chaotic jumble of leftover bits and pieces.

Day by day, stitch by stitch, each small repetitive movement helped to ground me in the present.
As I watched the world, I thought I knew, become a strange and unfamiliar space.

Making became my anchor, while all else seemed in flux.
A path that kept leading me back to myself.
So, I followed it……
